Yoga Therapy Training (2010) & Mantra Therapy
Reverend Manjula Spears, RYT is one of Integral Yoga’s foremost trainers of Yoga teachers. She holds certifications to teach all levels of Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and meditation with a deep interest and extensive training in Yoga therapeutics. Rev. Manjula is a long-time student of Ayurveda and chant. She is an accomplished instructor in the field of Yoga therapy; she is the principle teacher of the Therapeutic Yoga program at Athens Regional Medical Center specializing in restoration of functional mobility, reduction of musculoskeletal pain, and joint health. One thousand people per month participate in therapeutic classes through the center. For the past 10 years Manjula has had a special interest in working with women facing the challenge of breast cancer. This interest has motivated her to create a thriving program at the Loran Smith Center for Cancer support. She is the founder of Satchidananda Mission yoga center in Athens, Georgia.
