This photo celebrates the graduation of the first Ayurvedic Nutrition professional training course, held at the Sivananda Ashram in Val Morin, Canada some years ago, with Swami Mahadevananda presiding. Each participant is to be congratulated for their patience and perseverance in graduating from this early inception of the professional training course, despite Amadea’s ungainly approaches at that time!

Lian Reed, CT (ASP), LMT, RMTI, has assisted with the Ayurvedic Nutrition certification course, of which she is a 2008 graduate. She integrates her Ayurvedic self care knowledge with her training as a massage therapist, anatomy instructor, yoga teacher, and cytologist. She is a vital part of Other Side Wisdom Works, the production company for APYTI’s DVDs and audio CDs, as a producer, co-director and camerawoman. Her photos are featured throughout this site.
